Privacy policy
Last updated 5 October 2026
This policy explains what Tensor Thinking ("we", "us") collects through tensorthinking.in, why, and what you can do about it. We collect as little as possible.
What we collect
- Newsletter sign-ups. When you subscribe, your email address is passed to Substack, which runs our newsletter. We may also keep a copy of the address and the date you signed up.
- Notebook access requests. When you request access to the notebook library we store your email address, the role you selected and anything you write about your intended use.
- Data stored on your own device. The site saves small pieces of data in your browser (local storage) such as your best score in our games and which globe entries you have explored. This never leaves your device and we cannot read it.
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell or rent your personal data.
How we use it
- To send the newsletter you asked for.
- To reply to your access request, discuss licence options and provide access you purchase.
- To keep basic records needed to run the business.
Where it is stored
Access requests are stored in a private Google Sheets spreadsheet and our email inbox. Newsletter subscriptions are handled by Substack under its own privacy policy. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. These providers may process data outside India.
How long we keep it
We keep access requests for as long as needed to respond and to maintain records of any licence, and newsletter data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in every email. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data by writing to tensorthinking@gmail.com, and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
